Rachel’s is closing from Saturday 23rd December 2017 for Winter Holiday. We plan to reopen as usual from Monday 8th January 2018.

Happy Dragon Boat Festival !

Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Festival and Zongzi Festival, is just a seven days away, Tuesday, 30th May 2017. Sticky Rice Parcel (ZongZi) has been part of the celebration for a long history.

To celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival, Team Rachel’s have prepared a deluxe version of Traditional Sticky Rice Parcel with whole duck egg yolk and chestnut. They are available now at Rachel’s and we are also serving the meaty and vegan versions as usual.

It’s time to pop into Rachel’s and get your sticky rice parcel ready for this special occasion! The options are:

  1. Deluxe Sticky Rice Parcel – sticky rice with five spices, home cured whole duck egg yolk, chestnut, marinated pork, shrimp and Chinese mushroom
  2. Meaty – sticky rice marinated with five spices, soya pork, dried shrimp and Chinese mushroom
  3. Vegan – sticky rice, black eye pea and Chinese mushroom

The Snow Skin Mooncake (冰皮月餅) are available now !

The filling for the Snow Skin Mooncake in traditional size are:

  • Double duck egg yolk in Lotus Seed Paste, 雙黃蓮蓉 冰皮月饼
  • Double duck egg yolk in Custard, 雙黃奶黄冰皮月饼

For mini version of Snow Skin Mooncake, we make them in two different fillings:

  • Lotus Seed Paste, 迷你冰皮蓮蓉月饼
  • Red Bean Paste, 迷你冰皮豆沙月饼

There are two flavour of Snow Skin.

  • The green Snow Skin is pandan flavour (vanilla grass) and
  • the white Snow Skin is banana flavour.
